Did you know that colours have their own language? They do portray or speak up something and each colour its own way of thinking. Here we shall talk about the colour blue which is the colour of the ocean, the sky and the sea which at the same time denotes depth and truth.

There are different shades of blue and mostly people do love some or the other shades which is certainly strong and at the same time can be conveyed as friendly and light too.

Blue colour is also known as the ‘Universal Colour’. It has a calming nature which can soothe you minds and also help you sleep especially because it is the colour of the sky. When you choose the right paint for your bedroom, blue can be the perfect choice as you are sure to have a good night sleep. But, make sure you don’t go for those dark colors as too much of it can also be disastrous.

When it comes to culture, blue is known to be the way of driving bad spirits away and is considered to be very important in certain religious beliefs. Blue is the colour of confidence and rule and so you can find the police office in blue uniforms.

Yet another name given to this colour is as the corporate colour and a darker form of the same colour signifies unity, intelligence, conservatism as well as stability.

You might have heard people conveying emotions like ‘feeling blue’. Do you know what it really means? It represents the calm feelings which are associated with the colour blue which includes depression, obedient, sadness etc.

Royal blue or azure is the special shades of blue which signifies the royalty or it reveals a luxurious touch. When it comes to navy blue, it portrays darker passion which resembles black mostly. The banker’s colors are known to be a blend of dark and light blue which together denotes both trust as well as truthfulness.

Blue blends well it almost all colours giving new life and meaning to each. The combination of blue and green represents a natural experience and little gray to it adds up the classic touch.

Blue is referred to as the masculine colour and it mostly represents male. You can find that when a girl baby is born, the colour chosen for the infants are mostly pink. On the other hand, when it is a baby boy, the colour people automatically go for is nothing other than blue.

When it comes to cleanliness, the first colour that stands out in the promotion of these products is blue. You can find in the labels of cleaning liquids, water purification filters, vodka, mineral water etc. You can also find blue when it comes to sky and air such as the air conditioners, airports as well as the airlines. It is mostly linked to intelligence as well as perception. However it should not be used to promote cooking and food as the colour blue suppresses hunger.
